New Free MMORPG - The Universal
Via the wonders of del.icio.us I've discovered a new open-ended MMORPG in the style of Second Life. I just downloaded the client myself, so I cannot really say how cool or sucky it is. The idea is very cool. The game is free for anyone to play. However, if you want to create stuff or build worlds, you donate a bit for access. From the site:

The link seems to be down... though you can still read about the game and download the client from megagames.com. Oh, and Andrew, think you are the first blog I ever heard about del.icio.us from - loved the cogworks site. Any way, can't thank you enough for that great link and all the others.

If you stick with the game, it is very good...kind of confusing at first but great over time...

here's the real info: this game is nothing like second life, this is not a dating game for losers. a lot of the game is made by players, you can make your own world and register it(small donation)everything in this game is fully customisable. the last i heard, the creation team is "a collection of monkeys" ...hope this helps. try it, it's worth it
yes, the website is down, the game is down. The only alive link is A tractor which was a part of the universal. There you can find an online world but there is nobody hangiong around there. If someone knows what happened, please post here!
