Netvibes ecosystem
Gee, I just read about tagworld and now netvibes is doing a similar thing as well. Listen folks - its true -- sites like MySpace are the OS and Widgets (flash/dhtml) are the new Apps...

Have you checked out pageflakes.com... any opinions on who's got the best design-implementation.
It's an interesting concept. Though a website shouldn't have the permissions to modify content on your computer, no matter if it's a well-made and honest user interface from a name-brand corporation, or not. Though I have seen DHTML websites that have built-in draggable window applications that, in essence, emulate an operating system (Even to the point of having a local explorer window in an iframe)... The end-all be-all will be an operating system which "upgrades" the internet with an entirely new paradigm. Search for Stereopsis's article on Procedural UI.
Anyhow, I just thought I'd post and let you know that your articles affect thousands now. Your site comes up number one on a google for "firefox extension of the year". ;)
