Passively Multiplayer Online Games site back up
Imagine if you could get experience points for visting your favorite website every day. Or leave a "land mine" on a website for one of your friends to encounter if they visted the site as well. Justin and friends over at Bud.com are working on an interesting experiment to combine your web activities with a game environment. Check it out.

Justin did a talk on this at SxSW this year, along with Joi Ito (lots of game related content and panels this year, btw - it was nice) and it was absolutely facinating.
Justin commented that while Joi had loads of time to run an 00ber guild in WoW, he simply didnt have that sort of time to spare - but figured since he was on the computer all the time anyway, then he should be getting experience points as well. And so the PMMO was born.
