Games meet Interactive Fiction
An idea struck me while playing an online game. Imagine if you had a casual game - say a bejweled clone. As you played this game you earn various types of points - depending on the matches you make. Then, once you've played enough games to get a decent amount of points, you cash them in to influence an interactive fiction narrative. Based on the types of points you collected, different things might happen in the story. For instance, if you collected a ton of "passion" points, then there would be alot of relationship/love type interactions. If you had a ton of "war" points, there would be a lot of battles in the narrative.
